Cross-sector networking for enterprising women in South and East Kent. Bringing together women in business, the arts, social enterprise, local government, education and health.

Why cross sector networking for women in East Kent?

At this time of economic challenge and dynamic change in local communities, local government, the voluntary sector and the NHS, we think it’s more important than ever to bring down the artificial barriers between our different sectors.

We may operate in different fields, but we have a great deal to offer and to learn from each other. Our common experience is the creative process - whether we be engaged in a business, a project, an artistic endeavour, a service or a new social enterprise.

We are all determined to succeed - working with the circumstances we experience and not being dictated to by them!

Stephanie Karpetas and Stephanie Hayman have founded the Action Women!^TM Network as a new venture dedicated to bringing together, for mutual benefit, dynamic, creative and enterprising women in East Kent. We will celebrate our differences and our similarities and most of all our shared drive to create.

Why women only?

This is nothing new. Because we want to! We like a glass of chilled white wine, we will we will talk about our family and friends, as well as our work. We network differently, it works for us and we come away with the same outcome as any other good network: trusted relationships that help us to succeed.
